Secondly, make sure that as part of your learning module, you are given the opportunity to perhaps study online as well as on campus or an option between one and the other. Many times we have jobs that occupy a large part of our day and do not leave us much time to complete tasks and study necessary to fulfill the required coursework. There are a number of CNA schools that will allow you to blend both on campus and online study or simply allow you to choose one or the other.

Finally, a training school for CNA will require you to have placement at a health care facility as part of your learning module. You should find out if the school arranges placement of you in the hospitals, aged care, clinics or private homes in your area. If they do not, then ask how you are to arrange this. Again, there are some unscrupulous CNA schools that do not offer this as a component of course work and as such are not giving the student complete training on the job. Taking the CNA Training course means that you will need to complete a theoretical component as well as a practical component of your course. Not including the practical side will result in your certificate not being recognized in many health care facilities.
